At the Seventh ESCLH Biennial Conference that will be held at the University of Augsburg, Germany, on 21 – 23 June 2023, there will be a panel (number 15) on “Legal history and mass migration. Integration, exclusion, and criminalization of Migrants in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries”. Michele Pifferi will give a paper on “Histories of mass migration, citizenship and identity”, at the international conference “Cultures, Creativity, Inclusive Societies”, that will be held at the Ionic Department in Legal and Economic System of Mediterranean (Taranto), on 8-9 February, 2023.
On 31.1.2023 Prof Cristina Vano has been invited to give a talk at the Helsinki Legal History Series on “National Styles Beyond Borders. A Trevelogue of Migrating Legal Stories in the Nineteenth Century”.
